Water with Maya

A few months ago I met up with miss Maya Sawyer in Long Beach for this awesome water concept shoot. I’m super happy that I got to see her again after our first shoot in Rhode Island. Lucky for me she was visiting on her school break! This was such a fun day for us. After we finished shooting, we sat on the rocks and watched the crabs crawl around in the water.

Beauty with Anya

I had the upmost pleasure working with Anya (model for Wilhelmina Models) and Teresa (H/MUA) on this retro inspired beauty shoot. I borrowed these sunglasses from my boyfriend’s mom and evidently they are by Playboy. This was a very fun photo and I’m very proud of the outcome. Both Anya and Teresa were so wonderful to work with!

Re Edits from 2014

I decided a few weeks ago to watch more photography related videos on YouTube to boost my skills in shooting and editing. Slowly I’m learning new techniques regarding both which will hopefully help me revamp my portfolio. At least that is the plan haha

Here are two re edits so far. I think I might make a series to post for fun!

I’ve started to brighten up dark areas of the face, brighten the pupils, soften the skin more in depth and use levels more in Photoshop. I’ve gotten pretty used to only editing lightly and more natural which could be a bad thing in some ways. I just felt it was time to try some new techniques.
